There are ripe apricot and nectarine notes with an edge of reductive, smoky notes and a firm mineral underpinning. The texture is fresh and tense, yet there is generosity as well that brings the wine into a delicate, refined balance. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented in large 500 litre casks (20% new). The wine will open reasonably quickly
